Notice of Chinese New Year Holidays

Dear Colleagues:

　　　We are writing to inform you that this year we will be celebrating the Chinese New Year from February 15 to February 20, 2018.  The Taiwan Intellectual Property Office as well as our firm will be closed during the said period.  All deadlines falling during the period will be automatically extended to February 21 (Wed.), 2018.

　　　Incidentally, the State Intellectual Property Office and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce Trademark Office of P.R. China will be also temporarily closed from February 15 to February 21, 2018.  All deadlines falling during the period will be automatically extended to February 22 (Thu.), 2018.

　　　Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Patent Department will be temporarily closed from February 16 to February 19, 2018.  All deadlines falling during this period will be automatically extended to February 20 (Tue.), 2018.  Nevertheless, our office is closed from February 15 to February 20, 2018, and we will not resume normal business operation until February 21 (Wed.), 2018.

　　　Therefore, we would appreciate if all urgent cases and instructions are received no later than February 7, 2018.

　　　We thank you for your support in the past, and we look forward to strengthen our business relationship with you in the future.  Last but not least, we wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous Year of Dog.
