| In civil actions, the IP Court hears the first and second instances and the Supreme Court is the highest appeal court; while in administrative actions, the IP Court hears the first instance and the Supreme Administrative Court is the highest appeal court. |

| In second instance, there are three judges residing in the appeal panel of the IP Court according to Article 6 of the IP Court Organization Act; while in the final appeal, there are five judges residing in the appeal panel of Supreme Court as well as Supreme Administrative Court. Judges in both the Supreme Court and Supreme Administrative Court are not specialized at hearing IP cases. |
