In April, TSAI LEE & CHEN was honorably invited to hold workshops in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. Our representing lawyers Mr. Victor S.C. Lee and Ms. Crystal J. Chen, and patent counsel Mr. Sang-Fang Liu delivered several lectures focusing on trademark practice and design patent practice in Taiwan. The topics also covered trademark and design patent litigation and some noticeable infringement cases analysis.

On this trip, our representatives initially met with our business client, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, where Ms. Chen gave a speech about trademark law in Taiwan and its recent amendments, and followed the speech with a discussion panel. The representatives then visited RYUKA IP LAW FIRM in Tokyo, and LEXIA PARTNERS in Osaka, and delivered a series of speeches to the firms’ associates and their guest corporate representatives regarding Taiwan trademark legislation, Taiwan design patent practice, and intellectual property litigation and some noticeable infringement cases. The Japan workshop tour was a successful excursion. And, we are expected to hold such workshops for our global clients and business partners annually.
