Tsai, Lee & Chen held a Taiwan and China trademark seminar on February 14, 2014, and welcomed more than 30 domestic company representatives to participate the discussion. The speakers were Ms. Crystal J Chen and Mr. Jesse K.Y. Peng.
Ms. Chen introduced the newly amended Chinese Trademark Law and gave case-by-case examples to analyze some recent practices in China, while Mr. Peng shared his litigation experience before the Taiwan IP and elucidated upon administrative remedies for trademark applications and registrations.
Participants had an enthusiastic interaction with the speakers and asked many questions. After the meeting, participants gave very positive feedback, and encouraged the office to hold more seminars like this covering other intellectual property related topics.
