Notice of Holidays

　　The Taiwan Intellectual Property Office will be closed on September 24 and October 10, 2018 due to Moon Festival and National Day Holidays. All deadlines falling on the said days will be automatically extended to September 25 and October 11, respectively. 

　　The State Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA) and the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of P.R. China will be closed on September 24, 2018 and during October 1^st to 7^th, 2018 due to Moon Festival and China National Day Holidays. All deadlines falling during this period will be automatically extended to September 25 and October 8, 2018 (Mon.), the first working day following the extended holidays. 

　　Nevertheless, September 29 (Sat.) and September 30 (Sun.) will be working days in China. Any deadlines for Chinese TRADEMARK applications falling on September 29 & 30 will NOT be postponed. But deadlines for Chinese patent applications falling during the said period (September 29 & 30) remain to be extended to October 8, 2018, the first working day following the extended holidays.

　　For Hong Kong, September 24, 2018 will be a working day for the Hong Kong Patent Department. However, our office will be closed on the said date and will not resume normal business operation until September 25, 2018.

　　We would appreciate clients could provide all urgent work instructions relating to Hong Kong and China no later than September 21, 2018.
