Taiwan Patent Attorneys Association (TWPAA) Visited Japan and Korea Patent Attorneys Associations

From May 11th to 15th, 2010, led by TWPAA President, Thomas Q.T. Tsai, the delegation of TWPAA visited Japanese and Korean patent professional societies, including AIPPI Korea, KPAA, JIII, JPAA, FICPI Japan, AIPPI Japan, JIPA and APAA Japan. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the local professional societies and the historical interactions between TWPAA and the respective association (organization) was remarkable since the establishment of TWPAA in December 2009.

The TWPAA delegation was comprised of President, the Chair and Vice Chair of International Affairs Committee, Chair and Vice Chair of Right-Asserting Committee, Chair of Editorial Committee, Councilors and Supervisors, as well as other TWPAA members. It was the first delegation traveling overseas to introduce the TWPAA organization, activities and future development to international professional societies, and the first time to listen to the operation of patent associations/organizations of other jurisdictions. The exchange of ideas was especially meaningful for the coming interactions between TWPAA and Japan/Korea patent profession associations/organizations.
